Remote Learning From Home
Welcome to Remote Learning for Reculver CEP School
As we are now in Lockdown 3 (wef 05.01.21) the school have moved to remote learning. The teachers have prepared a range of learning activities to challenge and motivate the children so that they continue to build on their existing learning and make progress while learning remotely at home. There is an expectation that children will 'register' each day and maintain contact with their class teacher throughout the week using Class Dojo and there will be a whole class zoom meeting each week so that the children can share their learning experiences with their teacher and celebrate the week together.
For each year group you will find an overview for the week, which will include English, maths, reading and spelling as well as lessons for our wider curriculum, and a suggested timetable to follow but please organise your day so that it suits your own individual situation. There are activities and learning tasks that can be completed straight into the home learning exercise books, which have already been sent home with the children last term, and recorded video lessons prepared by the teaching team to support you and your child/children. The teachers will share the links to the home learning through Class Dojo and if you have any questions please use the Class Dojo to message your child's class teacher. If you are experiencing any problems accessing the Class Dojo please contact the school email - email@example.com and we will do our very best to help you.
Printed home learning packs and bundles of reading books are available so please do request these from you class teacher via Class Dojo and they will let you know where and when to collect these.
Also below is a document which is full of fantastic websites which can also support your children's learning at home. You will find these are sorted into different key stages as well as subjects.
