Leopards - Mrs. Schooling

A very warm welcome to the Leopards Class!

My name is Mrs Schooling and I will be your child’s teacher. We also have two teaching assistants, Miss Finn and Mrs Skinsley-Stephens and we are all very excited for the year ahead.

This year is going to be full of fun and learning and we are really looking forward to exploring and engaging in interesting topics like Space and the Universe, Farming, Alchemy Island, Ancient Egypt and the Pharos and many more.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress or happiness. I am available via Class Dojo or the School Office if you would like to setup an appointment.

PE

Our PE will be on a Thursday - if there are any changes, I will let you know via the dojo. 

Homework

Homework will be sent out weekly in the form of Maths and English. If there are any alterations to this, we will let you know via the class story on Class Dojo. I would also like to encourage the children to use Times Table Rock Stars to enhance their times table knowledge. You will find usernames and passwords stuck inside their reading records.

Reading

We would like the children to be reading at least four times a week at home. When your child has finished their book, they will be expected to complete a quiz on our Accelerated Reader scheme at school. The results of these quizzes will be accessible to you through our Accelerated Reader Home Connect. Please let us know how you feel your child’s reading is progressing with any comments or concerns through their Reading Record.
