The Seahorses (Year 3/4) Mrs. Humphreys

Welcome to Seahorse Class

A huge welcome from Mrs Humphreys to all the children and parents/carers of Seahorse class.

This year, the children will be supported by Mrs Sexton, Miss Whiffen, Miss Smith and Miss Cunningham, all of whom are Teaching Assistants in Lower Key Stage 2.

We have another exciting year planned, with many wonderful and challenging topics which we are sure everyone will enjoy.  We also hope to arrange an excursion during term 2 to support our topic work, and will be informing everyone very shortly about this.

Please could I ask once again that children have a named P.E. kit in school at all times, as it is a requirement that they participate weekly in physical education at school.  For your information, PE days will be on Monday and Thursday, with the addition of swimming lessons on a Wednesday during term 1.  Children need to remove all ear rings for these sessions and if they are unable to remove these themselves, I kindly ask that these be removed and left at home on these days.  I would also recommend that children have a named water bottle in school.

Many thanks in advance for ongoing parental and carer support throughout the coming year, which is always very much appreciated.

We are also delighted to inform you that our school councillors this year are Alex McCarthy and Isla Jarvis.

Finally here is a treat for everyone – a photograph of our wonderful learners,  as well as our councillors, this year - and a wish for happiness and many successes for all our lovely Seahorses.
